Worldmark San Diego - Balboa Park

Nice place with air conditioning, a fitness center, and a 24-hour reception. The staff helped me find attractions during my first stay, and I'm coming back for Xmas. Highly recommend it!

The location was exceptionally nice and excellent, to Balboa Park. Downtown San Diego district was worth staying in. The room was well-equipped, it came with wine, a fold out couch plus balcony.

That food was missing.

We had a wonderful experience with the friendly and accommodating staff, making our weekend getaway enjoyable, and being just a 15-minute walk to the fine San Diego Zoo and even closer to Balboa Park was an absolute delight for discovering the city.

Had a blast with friends ! We checked out the beautiful Balboa Park and enjoyed the vibrant Gaslamp District. The rooftop deck was a great spot to relax, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms.

One downside was the large number of homeless people in the area, made walking after dark uncomfortable.

We had a really great time exploring San Diego with the kids! The facility is lovely and well-maintained. The kids especially loved the nearby attractions, and the short drive to Coronado was a hit.

In my wife's opinion, the pool area could be more child-friendly. It would be great to have more shaded spots for small ones to play.

The location made it easy to explore balboa park and gaslamp district, such a delight. The rooms were not only clean but also very stylishly decorated was nice.

The rooftop patio offered fine views and a peaceful space to relax, especially for seniors like me.

Higher parking fees for seniors would be appreciated.

The Art Deco features throughout this place made my heart sing! I loved sipping cocktails on the rooftop deck, soaking in fine views of the city while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Plus, being just a short stroll away from the good Balboa Park was icing on the cake!

The location offers easy access to Balboa Park. I loved walking over in the beautiful weather. The hotel showcases some charming Art Deco features throughout the building. Rooms are clean and well decorated. I appreciated the friendly staff, who were always ready to help. The neighborhood has its sketchy aspects, which can be unsettling. Valet parking costs $30 a day. This wasn't communicated clearly before arrival. I found the mattress was only average, not as comfortable as I had hoped. Expect some noise from the streets that can intrude on your peace, especially at night. No oven in the kitchenette made cooking a challenge. I wished I had known this in advance. Despite these issues, I managed to enjoy the rooftop space with its great views after a long day of exploring.

Actually surprised by the charming Art Deco features and the stylish decoration of the room, comfortable and clean. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The limited amenities were disappointing, especially with a costly Wi-Fi charge and inadequate valet services that felt mad really like a cash grab. The parking situation was frustrating, considering the hotel's location in a bustling area.

I had such a great stay, especially enjoying the incredible rooftop patio with its beautiful views and grills! Also, the spacious room was perfect for our family gathering, and the hotel’s charming decor really made it special.

The hotel was fully booked which resulted in a noise level that was sometimes disruptive.

Rooms with a view were a big hit with us! the hotel is super conveniently located - right next to downtown, the waterfront, and Balboa Park 🌆.

Easy to get around to various sites. The rooms are a nice size and airy, furnished with a couch and wine.
